Things to Do
Activities
Fly Fishing: A favorite of Claude's! Book through Lost River Outfitters or Silver Creek.
Golf: Visit one of Sun Valley's three golf courses - Trail Creek, White Clouds or Elkhorn.
Gondola Ride: A favorite of Jackie's! take the gondola from River Run Lodge up to the historic Roundhouse restaurant For food, drinks and unbelievable views! Reservations required.
Gun Range: Visit the Sun Valley Gun Club to get in some target practice.
Horseback Riding: Sun Valley Stables has trail-rides for all levels.
Mountain Biking: Biking is the best way to get around Sun Valley! Rent bikes at Pete Lane's Mountain Sports or Sturdevant's to take up the mountain or to cruise into town.
Outdoor Ice Skating: A classic Sun Valley Lodge activity. If you don't skate, grab a drink and watch!
Sun Valley Lodge Spa: Relax and indulge in the luxury of the SUn Valley Lodge Spa.
Hiking Trails
Baldy Mountain Trail: Hike 5.3 miles to the lookout point or 11 miles all the way to the top and grab lunch at the Roundhouse (also accessible by gondola). Moderate/Difficult.
Proctor Mountain Loop: A 4.2 mile loop with a section of quick elevation. you'll earn a great view of Sun Valley and Baldy Mountain! Moderate.
Galena: A beautiful 30 minute drive from Sun Valley, Galena offers numerous trail options with varying levels of difficulty. Be sure to stop in the lodge afterwards to grab a beer and the best chocolate chip cookie in town.
Adam's Gulch: A 6.1 mile loop with a variety of terrain. Easy.
Fox Creek: A 5.3 mile loop with diverse vistas in a heavily wooded setting. Moderate.
Baker Lake Trail: A visitor favorite! The steep climb is worth it to see (or jump in) Baker Lake. Moderate.
White Clouds Loop: A 4 mile loop with an easy access point right across from the Sun Valley Lodge. Easy.

Places to Eat
Dinner
The Pioneer Saloon: A Sun Valley staple you don't want to miss! Keep in mind they do not take reservations so get there early to put your name on the list and grab a drink at the bar while you wait.
Vintage: A quaint, high-end restaurant in the heart of downtown. We recommend making a reservation and requesting a table outside.
The Grill at Knob Hill: An absolute must while in Sun Valley. Request the popovers with honey butter and a table in the garden!
Enoteca: A cozy, upscale wine bar on Main Street with tons of tapas and yum yums.
Lefty's Bar & Grill: A casual spot for beers, burgers and bar games!
Sushi on second: delicious sushi rolls. be sure to get the popcorn shrimp!
Rickshaw: amazing Thai! No reservations so try to get there early to avoid a wait.
wiseguy pizza pie: classic new york style pizza perfect for take-out!
desperados: delicious Mexican food and spicy margs!
Drinks
Duchin Lounge: a must! This is our favorite place to grab a drink, chat and people watch! Located in the lobby of the Sun Valley Lodge.
The Casino: The best. A classic mountain town dive bar. You will most likely catch the wedding party here during the weekend! Known for it's huckleberry shots.
Warfield: A distillery and brewery. Grab a seat in the bar or on the rooftop and be sure to ask for the bartender, Ian, to make you one of his favorite cocktails!
Whiskey's on Main: A great place to enjoy live-music and watch the latest sports game.
The Cellar Pub: A low key, dive bar with a small patio section.
Brunch & Groceries
The Kneadery: Classic, homestyle breakfast serving Sun Valley since 1974. The wedding party will be here Sunday morning of the wedding weekend for brunch, so come say hi!
Bigwood Bread & Cafe: perfect for lunch! everything is homemade. Order quite literally anything on the menu and you'll be thrilled.
Java on Fourth: Our favorite little coffee shop with great local pastries.
Wrap City: Huge sandwich wraps that are great for sharing!
Atkinson's: Local groceries. please note only wine and beer are sold in idaho grocery stores. you can find spirits and other libations at the local liquor store.
